I am new to O gauge model railroading. What magazine(s) would you O gauge experts recommend?

It would depend on whether you model in O scale, or o gauge tinplate. If by o gauge, you mean three rail Lionel, Mike's Train House, etc, then the magazine for you is Toy Trains from Kalmbach. If you model o scale two rail dc, any of the scale model railroad mags would work, you will just have convert any plans to fit your scale.

Thanks for the response. I am working in Lionel 3 track. I need a good ongoing reference for layout & senery building, weathering ,etc. Is Tuy Trains still the best choice?

Our bookstores carry both Classic Toy Trains (from Kalmbach) and O Gauge Railroading. Both look good to me, but OGR seems to be a bit more nuts-and-bolts, technical while CTT has pretty pictures and historical/collectors articles.
