    Val's Party

    Val:

I think you'd better step in here and straighten us all out. You told me the party was on Saturday, and in the very next message interurben says it's Friday! I'm inclined to believe YOU, since you're the hostess; but somebody might get veryu confused.

    Change of plans

Well Dave, Chris (Interurben) and I had a little discussion this afternoon and it seems that certain people's spouses have made dibs on Saturday night, cutting into attendance in a big way :D :D :D
Also, Saturday is the night of the NMRA banquet, so I've decided to switch the BBQ to Friday night instead. The official announcement is

Val's BBQ changed to Friday July 18th
Same time, same place, same menu!

Hope this will not inconvenience anyone. I will be sending email messages to all who have contacted me so far.

    cheers
    Val

NMRA will have a bulletin board for leaving little messages. Maybe we could get a little Gauge symbol and have coffee meetings and such.
BTW I picked up my package today. The hotel is charging for parking, maybe not an arm and a leg, but at least a thigh and a forearm. :D I think daily max is $8.00.

But, if you don't mind a short walk, the parking is FREE at the convention center accross the road!

    cheers
