Hi, just bought a Swift via Schumcacher,

I am having real difficulty getting it to run. The glow plug is working fine, the problem must be fuelling (I am doing the engine run-in at the moment). Is there an easy way of setting up the mixture (screw both screws all the way in then 5 turns out for example). The thing ran OK for the first tankful of fuel (on idle for the run-in). But then didn't idle too well, so I tweaked the mixture (leaned it out a bit) then it ran loads better. Now it won't start at all, I have tried turning the mixture screws both ways (1/8th turn at a time) but am still getting no joy! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

1)Check all fuel lines for leaks.
2)Set the needles back to factory settings
    3)check glow igniter power
    4)check engine compression
    5)try a new glow plug
6)different plugs have different heat ranges...use the proper one for your engine.

Just a few of the things i can think to try off the top of my head. Unfortunatly, i have never heard of your model....lol. Try to contact the company to ask a tec what you should do. Hope this helped.

Did you follow the break in procedure? Normally should run it rich for 3-4 tanks slowly leaning it out
