    Blinking twice would be two times too many with a town I lived in Illinois years ago. East Lynn, Illinois. The town was a grain elevator and general store/post office. The population sign steady dropped in numbers, rather than rose.

    My grandparents used to own the general store in Whitewright, TX. "Boot Hill General Store." They were right across the road from the cemetery (naturally) and their stock included cowboy boots. It was the only business in "town." Everthing else was just farms. There was a historical marker about a fued between some of the residents and carpet baggers following the civil war. The cemetery was pretty cool when I was a kid.
