newbie haha ! , do's & dont's on electric buggies

    i have just been looking at the duratrax website an i think the evader bx is the 1 for me , gunna go see what kinda hop ups i can get for it , ! any1 who knows where i can get good cheap 1's that info would be great ! cheers matt :)

    im not sure how fast it goes but i would say somewhere around 25-30mph. 3300 cell packs are good. check ebay. they have good eals on new batteries. even a 2400 mah pack would be good. if you give me a european website i could find you some good stuff

    im not sure about the speed of the evader but i would say around 25-30mph. any batteries with cells of 2000mah or higher would work great. ebay has good deals on batteries and i would be able to find you some great stuff if you could give me a european site

    -traxxas bandit which is an electric buggy
    -a savage 25 which is a nitro 1/8 scale monster truck
    -t-maxx is a 1/10 scale monster truck
    -and an x-mod which is a mini from radioshack

    i heard that the t-maxx and savage were basically the same truck and was thinking about getting the maxx, which one do you like better

    well i like the savage better and they are not basically the same.total different design. the savage is a lot more durable. go to www.hpiracing.com to see the savage and www.traxxas.com for the maxx. if you want to race then i would suggest the maxx but the savy is better for bashing

    has any of your cars had the trx .15 engine in them. (sorry for all the questions i'm just trying to learn as much as possible)

    nope i have the 2.5 but they are the same size engine. .15ci and 2.5cc

    all though i guess it would be better to buy it here he would have an easier time them he would in turkey

    yea i know but i cant wait lol, plus i didnt think i would have the money till i went but i had a letter in the post this morning saying i can get my money now (which was a nice surprise lol) , an another reason is that if i get it here i will get english instructions, coz it will

    umm i can say about 3 words in turkish lol , shouldent be to hard to pick it up once i get there :) (hopefuly, another thing i need to try and find out it is what mains output they have ova there , coz that could be a problem with charges an what not !

    ya i dont think i would be able to learn another language too easily. ya power could be a problem like the outlet plugs.i think they are different over there, right?
