Hi all. I am new here. I have decided to get back into this hobby after 20 years. Thus far, I have bought the Doug's Drug structure kit and that is all. I remember well building that kit years ago and was glad to find it again. I am thinking about buying one of those huge Life Like sets to get me started. Any opinions on whether they will run? I don't expect too much but I recall before that HO train sets were pretty shaky propositions, especially Bachmann. Seems like the Life Like was better. I just like to see them go around.

Life like's HO sets are made up out of their el-cheapo line. Now for Bachman Spectrim sets. THOSE I hear are good quality sets:thumb:
If you buy your set a piece at a time you may spend a little more but in the end you will be HAPPIER. atlas track athearn locos and cars .life like proto 1000/2000. just to drop a few names.
