Hi everybody,

My name is Alan Lordes. I'm 17 years old. I'm brazilian, but I live in Framingham, MA in USA. I'm a big fan of model railroading and I model the EFVM railway in Brazil. I started in HOn3 but now I switched to Nn3. If there's anyone who also models this railway or other brazilian railways, please send me a message because I really need smoe tips and pic examples. I also need scratchbuilding tips and tips about modifications such as narrowing a mechanism.

Nn3

Alan, welcome to Zelot, Like most North American train nuts, I have mainly just payed attention to South American railroads when interesting North American lcomotives found their way down there on the used market.


I model some in Hon3, with most of my outfit being standard gauge. Nn3 is out there. as for narrowing mechanisms this is very tricky in Ho. My understanding is most of the folks doing Nn3 use Z scale track and mechanisms.
