New layout so far.

Heres what I have so far. walls in the room painted, bench work will start this week end. and this is what I have for the alyout design so far. 5 4'x2' mods. in N guage. I thinking in the fore ground small yard and wharehouse.

It looks good so far. One change I would make is to shorten the passing siding a bit, and then make a short runaround in the industrial area on the lower left peninsula. Depending on direction you have two facing point and one trailing point switches or vice versa. To work all three from the same train you need a way to get around some of the cars to push them in.

You want your doubled track to be able to take your average lengths of train. The loop on the right, double tracked doesn't look like it would hold a train length as reflected in your double track on the main, running horizontally to the screen and room.

looks good.. also looks like something I want to plan out..

do you think the 2ft will be good enough? I might try 2.5 feet..
