Needed Help ASAP!!

A friend of mine sent these pics to me and wants to know what scale they are.
these cars are about 3-1/2 in. high and about 5 in. long. My friend said that
the wheel width is about 1-1/8 in. wide. They are made of thin metal. Can anyone tell me anything about them? As in what scale are they and about what time period they were made? Or anything else?

From what i know cause i have some of them they are O Scale. They were my dad's. I currently have them on display.

Marx tinplate, scale is O27. Called the "poor man's Lionel" because it is easier to afford. Great stuff :thumb:
