Things that look good on paper don't always work in reality. I'm busy rethinking my original plan after doing some of the benchwork. I am having trouble figuring out my reverse loop options. Originally a had 1 on each end of the dogbone but with the grade and limited space I'm kinda stuck with room for only one. :(

So once I turn the train around I have no way of turning it again. Very frustrating however I am still working on revising this to correct my problem.

Here is a new picture of the current revision...

Regards,

I don't know what sort of scenery you are going to use, but you could put a second reverse loop in using a crossover on your current reverse loop. It might start to resemble a bowl of spaghetti, though.

Russ you are so smart I was thinking along those lines too.

Thanks Russ,

The only problem with that is the current reverse loop is going from about 3" to 0" and the area below may not be enough to pass a train under unless I drop that down below 0". Funny how we both looked at a similar solution.
