Just wondering if any of you clever designing types could russle me up some random Cogs and gears? Just simple profiles, in a JPG format so I can resize them and stuff. I can't seem to manage to figure out how to do them myself.

here's some pics of what I'm thinking:

A few different internal bracing patterns (3,4,5 arms) and varied no's of teeth (anything from lets say 8 or 9, up to maybe 60 or so).

I have a commission for a steampunk warhammer game board, but i'm a bit stuck on the cogs. I expect I'll probably cut most from Foamcore, so #D designs are not nessesary, just flat profiles.

I really hope this is as easy as I think it might be....

Ever thought about using the wheels (gears) from old watches, clocks, alarm clocks and such? Stick 'em in a piece of foamcore or clay and you'd really have a piece. Also have you looked at Ebay?

A Google Image search for gears returns over 11 million hits. Surely there would be something suitable in there.

Here is a gear template generator that might help you in you endeavours.

I have played around with it a little and it seems to be handy. :)
