I have looked all over the gauge for a thread that was done on rerouting the wires from the tender to the engine to make it look more prototypical. I believe the tutorial was with a bachmann spectrum. I have done searches and scrolled through majority of the guage trying to find it. So if anyone remembers the thread or who created it, please let me know. Thank you for your time.
