(I have pictures) & Need Help Identifying an American Flyer Engine

I have a New York Central 4-6-4 I beleive a post war.
It is a Smoke in Tender unit. It is a bellows unit.
The motor is a vertical NOT a Horizantal mount.
The brushes are mounted horizantally in the brush bracket.
All of my efforts to identify the engine have not presented any info. All of the 4-6-4 engines i can find have motors that are horizantal mount and every peice on the engine has a different part number from mine.
Can anyone help?
Thanks for any Help
Eric

You don't say what the number is on the cab and I also preseume that it is HO. Without that, it would be difficult to give you an answer. In any event, I ASSume that you have purchased one of the better price guides for AF. This would give you a definitive answer.
