    Hey again,

Today, my boys (7 and 5) asked me if we could build some models
together this weekend!!! YEA! But now, I need to know where the
best ez car and tank models might be. If you have had them at this
stage, what did you use for their first models? I'm figuring something
with single piece bodies or such would start the basics (cutting, scoring,
folding and glueing). Any help is appreciated

What about FG's Skyray. Besides being free it is pretty easy to cut out and glue together.

And the size is not too small either. I'm assuming you will be supervising. I know it's bigger than your regular scale Tex...........

Here are a couple of places with some vehicles.

This place has seven cars and one trailer. They look easy. You can customize them a little by changing the color scheme befor printing out the model.

Here is a site with links to all kinds of models. Some of them might be what you are looking for. There is a lot to explore.

All great links. The boys send their thanks! Now to begin the first step
of any modelling project, the endless "which one to build" step!

Not wanting to toot my own horn but in the Parts Bin/Aircraft category I posted a model of a "Ekranoplan" that actually works and was built by a few members here, is free and can be played with when they are finished building it. Lizzienwell has a really nice picture of the version she built. Both work, NewLun flies slower, needs less room. Also an interesting lesson in ground effect.
