Chris:
150/1 is a Sprinter BREL 2-car DMU. Blt 1985/6 at York.DMSL+DMS seats 68+lav and 70.
323/2 is later than my 1987 book, but the 3xx series are EMU.
The streamlined thingie might be a Pendolino.
The 4 wheeled bus might be a Pacer.

Yeah the four wheeler is a pacer unit. I used to ride them on the valley lines in South Wales and they make a hell of a noise going round tight curves, they're very rough riding as I remember.

The one with the really curved front is a class 390 pendolino I thing (for Virgin Trains)

The second to last one that looks a little like a pedolino but with buffers is a Virgin Voyager unit

Thats about all I know.. great pics!, good to see what's happening across the pond.

Cheers

full list is;

Class 150 two-car DMU
Class 158/7 two car DMU (we also have a three car version)
Class 155 (some of these have been rebuilt into class 153 single car units)
Virign West Coast Class 390 Pendolino tilting EMU
Class 142 Pacer (probably the worst riding DMU in Britian!)
Another Class 158
Class 323 four-car EMU (which they had major problems with when they first came into service)
Another 390
And the last two are a class 220 Virgin Trains Voyager DMU and a 158 DMU

We also have a tiliting version of the Voyager known as the Class 221 Super Voyager.

not as far as i know, we have a series of books you can get by a company called Platform 5 that goes into very in-depth detail on everything from locomtives to coaches and NPCCS (Non-Passeneger Carrying Coaching Stock - mail cars and such) right down to their build dates, bogies types, numbers etc etc
