Just to pass along my little bit of experience....to all "newbees".. The book N scal Model Rail Roading, pictured above, has some good information, in an easy to understand format and presentation.. Well written. Nice photos and drawings. Worth the $$$ The step by step layout...well, if I don't get my own track plan worked out pretty soon, I may just build it, with a couple of modifications..
