I've been pouring over the Atlas N-18 plan for the past couple of weeks. Has anyone around here actually built this one? I found two web sites for individuals who have built it. Actually, I think one guy is just thinking about it. On the other site, though, they've made significant progress. For such a small layout, it looks really great!

Here's the link:

Ain't it a beaut'?

Rory, That is a great site, clear pics and he makes it look so easy!
I can see your eyes glaze over and hear you thinking of how to add 18" to one side of your layout!! .. :D Wow, and four trains? heh heh, how much did you say DCC costs?? :) :)

I have a whole heap of "N" stuff, about 15 Atlas #6 turnouts, any amount of peco flex track, 60 items of rolling stock and 17 operational locos... BUT .... now I only have a space of 2ft x 6ft 6in for an "N" layout!! (sobbing that I started my HO layout which takes up so much space) ... Ahh, such is life when one loves trains! :)
