You got to make a video at that last shot!
Wow Mike, the only time I have seen a 100 car train was on an Ntrak layout at the Toronto Train show. To be able to do that on a home layout is really something.
Come on Mike....just stick a couple of helpers on the end and let 'em rip. Everyone here would LOVE to see that train winding its way through the spiral tunnels.
Do we need to remind you about the story of the little engine that could??
Ya Mike. We would all love to see it. Multiple pictures.
I don't think I'll run a 100 car trian up the hill, I 'd rather see 3, 33 car trains go up without problems!
Yup Mike, I have never felt comfortable with anything more than 25 cars. Not many compared to the real world I know but then we have much smaller worlds for our models.
Thats for sure Mike , Nothing worse than seeing the middle section of a 75 car grain train pull in and topple over on a uphill grade , it looks like a long way to the floor on your layout too!!!!!
I don't know what you're worried about Mike. After all, if you break a coupler and the train comes apart....the brakes on the cars automatically engage, right??
I don't know where you get you rolling stock from, but mine don't work like that, maybe I'll have to return them, could they be defective?!
Yeah Mike... PM me for the new "Return address." Hee hee hee.
Hey Mike....if you'll send all of your rolling stock to me I'll test the air brake system for you. If they are indeed defective, I'll take them out of service and you can get some new rolling stock.
Some people will try anything to get a few cars free.
Here is a picture of a westbound grain train just about to go into the upper spiral tunnel, there is an eastbound mainifest waiting in the siding.
The locomotives are just about to enter the lower tunnel now. That crew in the mainifest is still waiting!
Hey look at that UP loco, that will have to be painted next! It was a late Christmas present, but it's already being put to good use, thanks dad!
A couple of nights ago, Dave and Fred came over and we started doing the last section of backdrop. Here is what Dave thinks about it...
Fred wouldn't stop touching the trains, so we built him into the layout!
It's actually kind neat to watch the trains go through the tunnel from inside. Notice Dave's Canadain passenger train???
Looks like a fun evening was enjoyed by all.
Next week we might start on some scenery!
wow it has almost been a hole week adnwe have not seen any new pic's. lets go mike time to pickup your socks. we need pic's. lol
