    Or You Could...

...Just post the yellow pictures, and someone will colour-correct them for you. There are lots of Photoshop wizards here.:) (But not me.):D

    Finally!

Ok, here are the new pictures, I just bought a new camera, and it works really good, I only posted the ones were something new has actually been done. The first one is looking east again. (I updated this picture on July 5th, with the new camera settings.)

And looking west, I have 5 tracks in the yard laid, the other ones are just sitting there, I'm still planning the yard out!

Here is a better shot of the spiral tunnels, over the backdrop.

Wow! I'd love to do something like that! I especially liked the way you handled going between levels. It seems much more natural than a traditional helix.

Do you have a trackplan that you can post? Or have I missed it somewhere else?

    Great work!

I haven't got a track plan as such, I have a few on paper, but that's all. I didn't want a helix, it seems like alot of work for somthing that wont be seen! There is going to be 3 tunnels between the 1st and 2nd levels, but most of it will still be seen.

What you need is an SD40-2f to handle your trains...or 2, or 3

    Cheers

    Hey David!

Do you know where I could get one of them? (Or 2 or 3?!)

They have to be kitbashed from a Kaslo sd60f shell and an atlas SD60M 3 window cab and chasis.....

Its not too difficult. But I think I am the only one that has attempted this in N scale. I also did it in HO once, but that one took a fall.

    Cheers

That's a nice looking locomotive! I know someone who will be making some of them soon.

    SD40-2f

I think it will be cast resin, built for a Kato SD40-2. Maybe ready by the end of the year.

I am still playing around with my camera, and running trains, so I thought I'd put up some more pictures. I put up some lights under the second level, but I don't think they are bright enough. It looks like I'm going to have to go with 4" flourscent fixtures. I'll keep everyone posted!

Here is the first level track plan, sorry for the crude drawing, but it wil give you an idea of where things will be going. I'll post the second level next.

Here is the 2nd level, there isn't going to be to much industry, as it is in the mountains, you can see the mine in one of the earlier pictures I posted, above the main yard. It is in the upper right of this plan.
