i not found yet the way to make a strip
I have not said much on the build lately, but I have been watching, and it's looking good. I am away until monday afternoon at a friends, they are mad on planes so I will have a look through their books for schemes for you, I know they have books with photos of C47's. So I will try and scan the photos for you.

Also, Yaniv, you may try selecting all the parts and click 'object properties' panel, then deselect 'show surface isocurves'. This way you'll get clean, white parts.
To make connecting strips you could use 'extract edge curves from objects' button (or whatever that's called) in the 'curves from objects' pop-up
