My first Anime figure

20140623 183.jpg While trying different types of paper kits, I figure Id try an Anime girl. I'm not real happy with the results but I've also learned a lot about working with paper since. My next one will be better.

I have to agree with Rhaven Blaack, Not Bad at all... my last paper figure was a frog...

Very nice!
I'm working my way up to this level of build.
I'm working on a Chibi Miku model at the moment.
But it's mostly block shapes, except for the head.

Good start. I think these have to be done with the edges connected, then bent back, or painted over completely. My wife got pissed when i started one of these. She doesn't let me date either. :)

I recently took the poll about painted edges. I haven't tried hiding edges myself, although I am planning on doing it with future models. Any plans on coloring the edges?
I'm heading over to the TIPS, TUTORIALS AND TOOLS Section right now to look into what Zathros is saying.
