I have an OLD paper model of Ford's Then new 1974 Mustang II.
This was a Promotional item for the car. I only have ONE, so I can not give you the features from the backside of the model. But I was wondering if anyone here wold be interested in this car.
I have opened it up so I can scan it into my PC. I am Not sure about placing it here, myself so I would likely send a copy to another member who could post it instead.
Sadly the model does show some age, But then it is 32 years old!!
Maybe some of you experts can clean it up.

Or maybe somebody has a clean unbuilt copy.

I have it scanned to Jpeg. 10 Mg each front of page and back of page. But I don't have the complete back side. This is a model I built back in '74 when the then New '75 Mustang II was first released. But I am not sure how to place it here. Also any uploading will take mw time on Dial-up!

Can I copy the Jpeg to PDF??

If you have access to Photoshop, you can also save it to a .pdf from there.

    pdf compiler

I went to google and called up for a freeware program to copile pdf files
I managed to download a program called freefdfxp originally made for Apple
(Apple color LW 12/660 PS) that and a pgogram called ghostscript.
Ghostscript can be gotten at http://www.ghostscript.com/
I can't remember where I got freepdf xp but it works great. It also produces small files. Ghostscript is for doing multiple pages in one file.

holy crap... what resolution did you scan it at? 300dpi? 200dpi would be ok.

Making a pdf out of it wont help. It will just be a 10meg pdf.

I used the max on my scanner 1200! (At least I can say it is High Resolution!)
My scanner defaults at 150. Upgrades to 200,300,600 and 1200. I used the highest. I did not Know what to use,

What is the best way to put them up here??(Or can I?? Are they too big??)

I now have Adobe Photoshop Album Starter ed. 3.0. What can that do any body have it??
Did not start out to get it but must have been included in reader 7.0.8
All I was trying to do was update back to whaere reader was before I had to wipe my pC. I guess to re-install i did from the CD did not take completely. Adobe's automatic updates would start, but would Not inbed as I did not have reader 7!. So I did a complete re-instal from Adobe website.
ISP shut down at about 55/60% complete download. I restarted and Photo Sho-p Album was already installed. I did get Reader 7.0.8 to complete and yes Album did try to repair the existing file.
As long asas it is free i will keep it. Don't know if I will use it though.

I typically scan at 200 dpi. Give that a try and see what your sizes turn out at :)

Scanning anything over 300dpi is a waste of time and space as most output cannot handle anything larger and larger wont be noticed. Once you scan something that came off a press you still have a moire effect from the color dots.

Personally if I work on something I like to have it at least twice the resolution of my final. So when I save it down you wont notice and 'issues' I unprofessionally had with the image.

If you are working with XP then you SHOULD be able to save any scanned image as jpeg with paint.

ok so now we have it ... how do you want it?

Recreated to the original or 'recreated and tweaked'?

I have noticed that while trying to rebuild this image it has been drawn lopsided so to speak. I will finish it and then go back and fix all of it.
