Thought you might like to see the engine shed nearly finished. Note that it is stood on a footprint of grey card, this has been glued to the bottom of the structure, so I can add all details to it before it is incorporated into the layout.
The three small trestle like objects will eventually hold two lights over the tracks and carry water/oil pipes for my thirsty engines. On top of this I have added two pieces of rail to carry the power from the 16v transformer, this will allow me to tap off the rails at any given point to add the lights.
Down the side of the rails I have added small wires, which terminate under the shed.
Whilst I have not yet finished it, weathering etc. It won’t belong before it is ready to store in preparation for the re-build of Badger Creek.
