On the Bachmann forum they just announced that Bachmann will be making, in N scale, a 4-6-0 (Ten Wheeler) and a 2-6-6-2 (Mallet?). Combined with the just announced 2-6-0 Mogul from Atlas, this could cause a lot of light wallets!

I would sure like to lighten my wallet too. These should be great locos. Hope they come decoder equipped as an option.

I would like to see the ability to add or use a combo decoder/sound decoder with either a built in speaker or the ability to add the speaker in the tender. I have a friend with some Sn3 steam locos that sound really great!

News of these, especially the 2-6-6-2 Mallets REALLY made my day... heck, it made my whole year! I knew that emailing Bachmann might prod them on into plans of production. 
I'm already planning the budget to afford TWO of the Mallets in C&O, as well as one of the ten wheelers.
I think the Mountain is a bit too light to represent a C&O model tho, so I may refrain from buying it.
