Monon F 3...

    This is my Christmas gift to myself..I picked up a con cor F 3 on Ebay..I picked up the Monon shell at a train show a few years ago..The shells don't have pilots so i cut one off a scap shell..It runs pretty good to be as old as it is...

    Nice work! Looks good! Is is actually a Kato chassis? How'bout some layout pix?

    No its the old con cor drive but I was surprised at how well it runs..Jerry

    I have a few of the old Con-cor locos and all run very well!

    I have the Con-Cor Blue Goose in N and it works fine!

    I have heard that the Con Cor Blue goose runs pretty good but the price scares me off...Jerry

    IT's an engine I've always wanted in N scale.. I had saved up some money so I was prepared although it was pricey but sometimes it's worth it.
