Alright, so, since no one has done a review of this, I'm going to give it a shot.

I know I love lots of pictures in build threads, so I'm going to try to get as many as I can

weell, before you do, lemme finish this. I'm having some problems, and I don't think that all can be contributed to my modeling skills.

    Peace out

Is there anyone out there who does Vacu-Form canopies? I'd really like to have a decent one for this. If you could, that would be great.

Happy New Year!!! 1010 HERE WE COME!!

Looking sweet! I like the way you're connecting the segments. I'll have to try that when I get back to my P51D.

Haha, just make sure that you trim down the formers enough to make room

Mostly yeah, with some bulging after the fact. The cockpit tub and surrounding skin is my second try at it. It came out much better than the first

    Happy New Year All!

Alright, well, I messed up the wings pretty badly the first time around, and school is starting back up again, so its going to be a little while before I get that done. I did order two canopies (I have a Halinski Hellcat coming:) so I will get the fuselage done soon.

    Peace

Like what you are doing with this ModelArt F6F-5N. just wondering, did the cowl flaps come open, or did you do that, neat effect. Look forward to more.:thumb:Rick

Believe it or not, its actually the way its designed, at least for the base version. I just wish that whats-his-name over at ModelArt would put some weathering on it, instead of it looking so vectored, but, nothing that a marker won't fix:mrgreen: However, I am taking a little break from this, and working on Paper-Replika's Mq-9 Reaper model, so I'm hoping to get that done, although its giving me some problems, so I don't know if I'll finish it

well, the Reaper got junked, but I finished the cowling, and the prop. As soon as my cardboard comes, I'll be re-making the wings, and then skinning it, with the intention of folding wings :crosses fingers:

I'm going to display it with one wing folded and the other extended with flaps extended, the one completed obviously being the one that is extended

I will do that! Its going to be a long haul tho. I'm starting to lose patience, and that Halinski kit is looking real inviting!
