I checked out sir Moshe's site for Dr. Z's card models, and aparently, they have the OV-10D to be released later...

I was planning to suggest it at first, but no need!!!

When it comes out, I'll get it ASAP!!! :-D

    Hi sir John!

    This is the OV-10A

    and this is the OV-10D

Ths OV-10D is considered to be the second generation Bronco. It is equipped with advanced (during that time) targeting equipment, new avionics, more powerful engines (producing 1000+ shaft hp each, compared to the 715 shaft hp for the A), and better protection against SAMS

Notable external differences from the stock OV-10A include a longer nose housing the OV-10D's Fwd Looking Infrared sensor on a ball turret underneath the nose, IR suppresion packs on the exhaust pipes, chaff dispensers on the tail booms, Fiberglass rounded-tip propellers (the A has aluminum squared-off tip propellers), and an entirely new instrumentation system, replacing many of the steam gauges to computer screens.

The OV-10D was further developed to the more prominent OV-10D+, with external differences include thye replacement of the VHF-FM whip antennas on the tail booms with blade-type antennas, and the installment of the IR "discolight" jammer mounted on the antenna fairing just above the cargo bay

    Hi All,
I’m a bit irritated about appearance of this kit without my explicit approval.
Moshe Lemer owns the copyrights to sell the ModelArt kits designed by me AS THEY ARE and no any changes can be made without my explicit confirmation.
It’s very easy for me to put such restriction myself, locking the PDF files and allow viewing and printing only.
I didn’t do this in my last kits and they are freely editable for personal usage.
But if by repainting or some other editing of the existing kits a new ones are prepared for distribution, it is OBLIGATORY an explicit confirmation from me to be received.

    Hi there sir

My apologies if this thread has offended you and all concerned in one way or another...

Rest assured that there's no modifications/changes made from your models and there's no distribution of the said kit without you and sir Moshe's permission.

I guess I got excited when the site released a picture of the OV-10D on the future release page, then he corrected that the variant of the airplane would not be designed yet...

    again sir, my apologies...

nothing - whole different ball game.

Emil, there is no design or kit that I can see, only the idea of one.

I am sure that the people concerned will approach you if the idea moves forward.

Thank you for your contributions to the card-modelling community.

Yeah I think there is a major difference between someone doodling with a kit and displaying it and the designer loosing the plot over an innocent misunderstanding and what happened in this case.

Dr. Zarkov, what are you currently working on?

Ah I see so that's what's been going on...

Its ok sir, at least all things have been cleared now...

But since we are on the topic here, I have to ask, do you have plans to make the OV-10D sir? I think its going to be simpler to design since you already have the OV-10A. All that's needed is the OV-10D's longer nose and FLIR turret, the new prop blades, some simple IR jamming equipment and an updated cockpit. After all, actual OV-10Ds weren't made from NAA's factory brand new, all of them were modified from existing OV-10As...

I have been a big fan of the OV-10 since childhood because my dad flew the OV-10A for 7 years...
