    very very very nice. is that metal mesh in the intakes. and did I say very nice.

    Yes, it's the metal mesh of some kind. I was lucky to find once a pretty big piece of it somewhere in junk.

    Very nice. Clean and well presented. I think the stand adds much. seeing the "lift off". Creates a dynamic feel. Thanks for sharing it with us. My compliments as well to the blog pictures. Your large images testify to your skill. John

    Congratulations on a very clean build and a nice presentation with the base. The Mig-3 is one of my favorite fighters from WWII. To me, it looks like it's always going 300 mph, even while sitting on the ground. I have the Answer kit and was just thumbing through it the other night as a matter of fact. Did you find any difficulties in the build? Anything I should watch out for when I start building mine? I'm going to go and check out your blog now - again, beautiful job.
