    Hi,

I have a business trip to Japan this month and I wonder if there is something that I can buy in Japan as a typical model rail road. Any suggestions? Would it be expensive?

    Regards

kato is a japanese company. Their selection should be good. I am not sure that their tracks would complement the stuff sold in USA. Their trains should be interesting and they should have different types of engines.
Would be interested in feedback when you return.

    Hi Glenn,

I thought I will buy a typical japanese engine. I hope they have some interesting steamer or at least something as diesel. Unfortunately the town where I have to work is very small but Osaka will be near by ;-) I hope I have chance. I will report.

Of course, Glenn, Japan is probably best known these days for its Bullet Trains, and I imagine you could get any number of nice models of them. That might not be what you want, however. Have a good trip, in any case.
