Thanks trt & Zathros... :)

trt, I don't do mass cutting... just cut the parts out for each panel and the relevant greebles.

Build has been slow... but there has been some progress

The skins have gone on and the bottom panels are done - with greebling.
It's been pretty tedious and time consuming. :eek:ops:

Well, on with the pics!

Thanks dnalor :)

Eh, I didn't do anything... I guess my printer handles color a little differently. It's a laser printer.

Wow! Wanted to congratulate you, this is looking great!
Note to self: need to add greebling to my list of half-developed papercraft techniques.

The amount of detail that you are putting into this model is simply mind blowing.
I am very impressed with your skills. This is turning into a truly AMAZING piece of work.

Thanks dnalor and fokawe.

It's not that hard to do the greebling, just a very laborious process of cutting, cutting and more cutting... after that, it's just pasting them on. Not that difficult, just very tedious. :eek:ops:

As for the round and ring greebles, I use a leather/wood punch to punch them out. I reckon you should be able to get them wherever you are - mine is a very basic and cheap set. As long as you keep them sharp (I only use them for paper modelling), they will serve their purpose well.

I bought these when I was in Tokyo earlier this year... served me well! :)

Brilliant idea!!!!

You see... The day we stop learning is the day we die .......!!

I'm off to my favorite hobby and craft shop to see what they have got !! :D

Zathros

I hired illegal aliens to to out the holes and greeble. It know it isn't "legal' but I give them somewhere to park their spaceships and rest up, in exchange for the hole cutting and greebling. :)
