I have always liked the look of railroads modeled in foreign countries and the selection of german buildings and models is amazing but the cost is high...anyway, I was looking through my Walthers catalog and decided to peak at the military section for the fun of it and there was a diarama of a small german rail depot circa 1943-44. That's the clincher...when the time comes to model my railroad I am going to leave a corner open and using some visual blocks I need to include something like that...even an American or Russian depot would be fun...and as long as it isn't readily visible from where the operator would normally go about his work I don't think the contrast would deter from the fun. Has anyone included one of these military sections (WWII or earlier) in their layouts? If so, please post some pics, as I would love to see them.
