I want to make a Klingon d-7 I drew up and shaded purple look like 60's metallic paint. I don't really want to over lay a sheet of if and erase all the flash again. is there a way to recolor the parts to have that ''look''? I will post them here if you want to take a crack at it and show me. I have ms paint and paint.net only. kind of limited.
thanks!klingon d-7 tos c1.png romulan d-7 tos d2.png

the metallic paper would be good if I could get a nice silver purple instead of a lilac or dark purple

just tried the contrast idea, part of it looked good, but the rest just turned pink

You could end up with some pretty pissed off Klingons, then again, a few might go for it. :)

You could also say, they come from another mirror universe... The Klingon Party Universe! Their ships feature flashing neon lights and their main weapon is a disruptor boombox. ;)
