They look like low end in terms of detail. Virtually all boiler details are cast on. That being said, the details can be easily carved off, and separate casting or piping installed to raise the level of detail. The ones I've seen run on the modular club layout, seemed to run pretty good. The one weak point is that the front coupler is a cast on dummy. I don't see an easy way to add a functional front coupler, so double heading would be difficult.
