Was looking thru the threads..Did i miss the Novacat release?
Well, you could try the MW4 mission editor to take the screen shots, of course it would not have the same fun
I can't take the screen shots myself because I don't have the game installed anymore, and don't have enough disk space to instal it again (damn)!!
No, I didn't release it yet, still finishing the PDO stuff (the most boring part)...
Too bad, MW4 was the best of the series. I have MW4: Mercenaries which I've been playing quite a bit. It doesn't have tanks available in the mission editor, though. I'll have to play the "Eaton: Merc Alley" mission to get some good views of the Myrmidon and this recon mission I can't recall the name of to get the Bulldog. I can also get some APC and other noncom vehicle pics from the training mission.
shiftdel and when will appear Novacat and Сougar?
Novacat, soon. Cougar will take longer as I didn't start redoing the Pepakura work for it...
Hey Shiftdel, I finally found a program that would allow me to get screenshots from MW4, and I got a bunch of the tanks a second ago:
Small SRM tank of some sort.
Up close view of the same. Sorry about the smoke.
Bulldog tank again.
Bulldog firing it's laser.
I'm trying to get closer to him.
Got pretty close here. It's possible to discern the shape of the turret and chassis.
Vedette type medium tank.
Good side view of the Myrmidon.
Rear end of the Myrmidon.
Further away. If these stupid things wouldn't move so darn fast I'd get better photos.
About to stomp a Bulldog. It's possible to get a better idea of the overall proportions of this tank from this shot.
LRM Carrier firing some rounds.
Front view of the LRM Carrier and a Myrmidon with it's turret turned 90 degrees relative to my position.
Closer-up look at the LRM Carrier.
Better view of the LRM Carrier.
Nightwnid chopper about to bite the dust.
Top view of the Nightwind.
Close look at the Bulldog.
More of the convoy.
I'll make more screenshots if you need them.
hmm, you really got some nice shots of the bulldog, this one is probably going to jump as my first attempt
I hear ya. It's a cool tank design. :thumb:
Just talking about mechs again...
Novacat model is available to download:
This is a no jointed version, later I will release the parts to create the joints.
Just a side note... this is the model which took me longer to release (see http://www.zealot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=153612&page=54).
My oldest wip file of it is from March, 2006!!!
Almost 2 and a half years to release, it must be a record
Finally! And I mean that in the nicest possible way. sign1
Model looks great as usual, Shift! :thumb:
Thanks Millenium, hope I can draw a set of assembly instructions soon, as some parts will be trick...
About Novacat!!! Thanks shiftdel
Cougar released!!! See in my FileFront folder (on my sig).
Later this weekend I will post some of the camo schemes that I did long ago for it, of course including some of the luftwaffe and other airplane skins
shiftdel greetings! Class кллекция robots it turns out!!! And what robot will be the following? What further plans?
Neat... I prefer the original Mechs from the first Fasa Release of Battletech. I find the latest ones rather lackluster and without personality.
My next releases will be (maybe not exactly on this order):
- Zeus (the first model using the original MW4 meshes, just cleaned and unfolded by me)
- Madcat (the last of my models which I modelled from scratch)
- Owens (maybe)
Custom ones (designed by other people, and send to me for cleaning and unfolding):
Some vehicles are on my plans also, as well as some buildings, either scratch modelled or cleaned from original files.
This is building into a great collection shiftdel.. Excellent work :thumb: :yep: :thumb:
How about the illustrious BATTLEMASTER? I've always liked that 'mech. The domed cockpit might be a booger, but it looks doable.
Or Kanazuchi Battlearmor? Larger than an Elemental, slow (gamewise), but packs some nifty firepower.
