Your build is excellent. I am awed by how well you have aligned the parts.

mmh, not all parts are well aligned

    Hi folks, Hi rmks2000,

the wing shoulder is rather poor, flaps and rudders are ok so far........

It´s always the same, sections which I´m afraid of are no problem, everything fits well, other sections where I think they will be easy, sometimes look terrible.....
I don´t know what the reason is, I´m still trying to get a "non failure" model....

An other example for that is the seat of the Schlepper, such parts are normaly dificult, but....... no problem appeared, it looks good !

the soldiers legs must be adjusted a bit......

although the models aren´t finished, I want to give you an idea what my presentation will look like................

    Situation:

Me 163 short after landing. The Schlepper just arrived...........

A scene of a grass runway in the north of germany........

Flu............ don't forget the marking left by one of the wings tips. When it slows down one of them would drag on the ground, thus leaving a mark.

Another cool idea for a diorama!

    The Komet is finished..........

    Hi friends,

thank´s for the comments. The plane is finished now. I´m not fully satisfied because the wings are a bit poor........but the overall impression is o.k.
I think the grass helps here a lot

For the Schlepper I have no motivation at the moment. But I will finish it during the next weeks.

Now have a relaxed look at the pics,I hope you´ll enjoy it.

They look good.............. I'm always amazed at how such a large plane flew with such a tiny propellor................Just Kidding!

Saw a show (WINGS) on the Komet and the one they have at the British Air Museum, the director said he always gets asked "Why did they used such a small propellor on the plane?"...............made me laugh then and still does.

You must remember that paper does still have it's limitations............even though we all believe it is the superiour modeling medium..........there are SOME things that it has a problem with.

The overall picture of the model on the grassy field, with the Schelpper (when finished) will generate some Ooohs and Awwws from alll who see it!

Thanks for showing us your build............ it really was great to watch the progess and learn some tips too!

Beautiful job on the Komet! I wonder how many of these aircraft ever made a second flight, much less a third.

    Flu,
This has been wonderful to watch your thread on the building of this little red-red "rocket-bullet"...excellent photos....you've finished a beautiful little plane....the "propeller" was invented for killing the dreaded "kamikaze mosquito"! ....Bob out....
