Looking good, and a bonus the fit is good too! Does the kit have the Author on it somewhere. I'm trying to run down the misfit Orliks and see if there is a connection between author and misfits.

Beautiful work FLU! These have always fascinated me. German aircraft engineers have always been quite innovative and ahead of their time.

    tractors wheels.......

    Hi friends,

today I started with the tractors wheels.......the first attempt was a horror.

I needed to color it, the construction was not easy for me because it´s the first vehicle, another variety in card modeling :)

here era the parts for one wheel...........woooooh
    [IMG]

and so it looks after assembling and weathering by watercolors
    [IMG]

here are the steps in assembling a wheel:

    the prepared wheel
    [IMG]

    the running surface
    [IMG]

    and finished for weathering
    [IMG]

aftre that the wheel should dry over night, because the watercolors solve the white glue if its not dry enough.
    I´m so impatient.....I wait never...................

    the next steps

    Hi friends,

here is the status of the weekend..........

first I went on with the Scheuch Schlepper, for me it looks good so far.......
in the kit are some various possibilities for the Schlepper, I choose the one with the rubber balloons.
    At first the motor unit
    [IMG]

beside that I built the neck of the Komet
    [IMG]

    and the two models together....

    yes there is progress........

    Hi folks, golden bear,

    there is progress....

the landing skid should be movable.......

The skid bay is very tight, I hope the space will be enough........

@GB: the model is a normal B-Type. Only the coloring is special. I think it´s appropriate for recoloring. I have a book with some samples of camo. I can send you a scan if you want

    don´t think I´m lazy............

    Hi friends,

here are new pics from my build.......

    the finished main fuselage........

the landing skid is movable, sadly it doesn´t fit into the skids bay totally. The pivot points should be moved a bit to the front and down. The skid´s bay is rather tight...........but over all it looks good so far.........

    impressive view isn´t it ?

    Hello Flu,
It's bit off topic , but how do you manage to post 3 or 4 pictures, in the same message, which are still visible?

You have to have an off site host such as image shack.

    Time Off...,

    Carl,

A little education is in order. Germans have a mental switch in their neo cortex called the vacation switch. When activated they become totally different people. We'll be lucky if Flu can remember his password after two weeks of this condition.

But, I don´t think that this behaviour is special for germans.....:-? :(
