My wife & I are outside on a chilly Nov evening to observe the shadow of the Earth move across the face of the full moon...
I got a couple of pics with my digital camera...the resolution isn't too good...I took these over a period of about 20min...
Here's the first one...

Hi Charlie,
My wife and I caught it live here in Minnesota. It had a weird red shading when fully eclipsed. Must have been in the teens around here in the evening. Plenty chilly but worth the lunar show.

Thanky you Charlie, for sharing the pics.

I went up at 1 am this morning (here in Europe) to watch the eclipse. I was looking forward to see that eerie red light that Ralph mentioned. (It is caused by the refraction of the sunlight in the earth's atmosphere).

And when the shadow of the earth almost fully covered the moon... (somewhere between your two pictures)
...a bank of fog drifted in - and that was it!

I guess I also had an eerie red glow on my face when I went back to bed!
