The first is my Aerotrain running on MTH Real Trax. Notice the clicking as the cars hits the joints.

The next is another train at least the clicks are gone.

    So what do you think?

I think they sound like trains to me. I don't see anything wrong with it.

I think it's because your track is the pre-molded roadbed that makes more noise. My first set had the lionel roadbed track, and it sounded like a shower (as in take a shower you're dirty) and it drove me nuts, so I switched to K-Li - Ahem, Lionel standard O27.

thats b/c your tracks are elevated. the tracks that are not elevated are more quiet b/c it takes the sound less time to travel in to the table tob whereas the elevated track it takes twice as long and is then amplified by the bridge posts that the track is resting on....... it happened to me on my N-scale layout. for you i would recommend adding a 1/16" piece of foam along the edges of the track(make sure that if you do this do it only where the bridge posts and roadbed meet) it should keep the noise down abit.
