    Here are a few live steam engines, and diesels that belong to the Members of the Independent Live Steamers. Hope you all like them

    The First four photo's are 1-1/2" Scale and the Fifth Photo is 1" Scale.

    That would be so awesome to have an engine like that, but one can only dream...
    How much would you guess an engine like that #769 cost?, probably more than an average family car.

    Have i mentioned i can drive a 1.5" scale Mikado whenever it's steamed?

    #769 wouldn't be that expensive if you can machine the parts yurself. A prebuilt F-Unit is is $22 000 American...shipped to yur door ready to run!

    If you could, maybe...get some pics of JUST the steaming bays, without all that crap, errr...locomotive on them :p :eek: :curse:

    I might need to "borrow" that design and run it by the club i help at

    Forget the steaming bays, I just love the loco. A 2-10-? couldn't see if it has a trailing truck

    Train Pictures

    Hi. Thanks for the pictures. They are great.

    Commmooon you guys. You can own one too. Just be real good the rest of the year, and maybe your girlfriends/wives will buy you one for Christmas.

    Shoot, just prepare her the rest of the year by saying "honey, it is way cheaper than a new car". She has got to go for it.

    Thank you for the compliment. On average a steam engine runs close to $9000. I will be posting more pictures of the steam fleet soon so be watching.
