little joe question

    does anyone have a picture of the underside(engines)of the cardinspace little joe model im not quite sure how the parts are formed:roll:

    finished a nice easy model that goes together in a few hours the engine parts just need a drawing or picture as its difficult to work out from the text how they are formed

    Hi Nullmoon,

    I promise that I'll improve the instruction diagrams in the reworked kit.

    By the way: The Little Joe looks a little lonely on the cutting mat. Maybe I should continue this small project I found in my heap of unfinished work...

    Yes, for the booster. As you can see in the image above, you'll have to build the complete rocket engines an put them into the booster frame. Also there were some details that I omitted in the first release: telemetry antennas, camera pods, marmon clamp and a whole range of surface details...

    Also, I will make all the different capsules and paint schemes so that you can chose which mission to build.

    from the way the rocket is described i always thoght that it was a tube holding a bunch of smaller rockets didnt they use the lj for tests on pigs?or am i thinking of something else

    Yes, that's right - look at the image I provided above - you can see 4 big Castor/Pollux rockets and 4 small Recruit rockets that were stuffed into the Little Joe...

    No pigs on board though - only Rhesus monkeys from time to time...

    i know there were pigs involved somewere during capsule drop tests or something of that nature
