    Hi everyone
I have another question about shelve layouts?
most of these layouts are only between 6 and 18in wide althought you could consider 24in wide a shelf too. what type of lighting would be good for a shelf style layout?
    Thanks August:wave:

I plan on using these affixed to the upper valence shelf. both valence and the main level on my shelf layout (in planning) will be 15" out from the wall.

You can link the fixtures together ( I think up to 9) and they plug right into a standard AC outlet. So hookup is a snap.

I'll probably go with the Daylight bulbs.

Shelf layout lighting can be done with commercial shelf lighitng of various sorts. Personally, I have tried compact fluorescent fixtures, although I didn't really care for the quality of light (but I'm told that using special bulbs that are a closer match to sunlight helps.) For my current layout I am using rope lights as a background/fill light, and a number of 20 watt halogens to provide brighter spot lighting.
