Lighthouse

Hi All

Layout planning is coming along, will post a plan soon. I have been slightly naughty and brought a Branchline lighthouse kit. Whilst my layout will not be based on any area, does anyone know where i might find ideas on how to incorporate this into the layout?

I fell in love with the Builders in Scale lighthouse to use on my HO Layout. My layout is based in the Pacific Northwest, so I have the backside of the lighthouse (more interesting anyway) facing in toward the room at the top of a hill. It insinuates that there's water just beyond the mountain where you can't see. It works well to suggest the layout is bigger than it actually is.

Thats a great idea, facing it inland. Was a little worried about doing water but that is perfect. Do you have any pictures of your layout?
