    Exquisite work as always.
I looked and looked for the 2 wenches, then I went back and reread and was disappointed ;)

    Hello, Flu;

Have you ever tried that envelope window technique for an aircraft canopy? It looks like it might work for some of the more simple shapes.

    BTW, beautiful work.

    hmmmmmh.

    Hi drwrist,

no I have not. Ithink it wouldn´t work. The window envelope transparency is not moldable.......for my next attempts for aircraft canopies I will try to use shrink hose ( normally used for RC-battery packs..........) I think that stuff will work......but I will tell you !!

    the first boat..........

    Hi friends,

thanks for the compliments, but don´t overact, there are enough places at the model where improvement is possible.........

    the first boat in parts...........
the hulls shape is rather complex

for building the boats I prepared a "rack"

Question - are the criss crosses on the bracings (a couple posts up) string stiffened with glue then painted? they sure turned out nice!

Great work on that little boat too! Get a shot with a scale cube next to it? :)
    Thanks
    Chris

    criss crosses..............

    Hi chris,

I don´t know if I understand right, do you mean the supports for the platforms? If yes, they are made of plastic sprues (of plastic kits), pulled out over a candle......

and of course, your pic with the cube..................hope you like it!!

    the micro vents..........

    Hi friends,

today I built the remaining vents. Before building I made a copy on 80g/m² paper. So it works reasonably..........and the color made the rest

sorry guys always trouble with imageshak...................
