Here is a SD60 that I customed painted for a good freind of mine that has his own freelance railroad and told me to come up with a paint scheme for his railroad. This is what I came up with. The railroad is called the Pennsyltucky Railroad.

    'N' Old but nice Steamers

One of my Atlas / Rivarossi 0-8-0's converted to 2-8-0 on local duties as she trundles over the main line.

This Atlas / Rivarossi 2-8-2 eastbound runs through the small mountain township.
Mr Edwards is not yet aware he has a warehouse in Sierra's! :)

Here is one of my favourites. A 2-8-4 Berkshire that saw service on the NICKEL PLATE ROAD. This is made by Rivarossi

ACSXFAN1- That looks great. Is the BQ23 the loco model?
Would you be able to pass along a description of what you did?
For me it's the odd locos that look cool.:thumb:

the cab, the front pilot, the trucks and the fuel tank is from a SD70MAC and the chassis, the gears and the long hood is from SD60M

That sure is a beauty Steve. What kind of locos do you see in New Zealand? No trains visible in Lord of the Rings but the scenery there is magnificent.

It's neat to see different types of locomotives, I like trains, any kind, any place, any type! Do you have any more? Maybe you could start a new thread, trains in NZ?

    Steve,

Nice to see some good old NZ Locos.....I used to be a regular on the J'ville line in Wellington as a kid. Also took the Siver Fren and Northerner a number of times.
