I'm in the process of finalizing my layout, and installing the electrical components, and building control panel.

Testing SPDT Switch and Red/Green LED.

SPDT momentary switch w/ T1 Red/Green LED and HLED-5 clip.
(1/2 watt 820 ohm resistor) (shown at 14 volts)
(material cost $2.40 per switch + wire)

The single pole is the ground. The throw goes to each side of the switch...and the power is sent directly to the switch, by the large black wire with red tape. I installed the resistor on the ground side of the LED.

This electrical stuff is easy when you have no idea what you're doing! I have a background in Architecture, and am great with mechanical things. Electrical components baffel me. I still don't understand how to decipher # pulls and # of throws for a switch.

LOL! I've got a degree in EET and still over complicate everything. You've done just fine. I would have spent a month and 10 X as much money. LOL
