don't know if you where planning it , but to give the model an even better look you could color the white paper edges with a marker .

    keep on building looks great:thumb:

    next up - left headlight

    hey comerades
    started on the left headlight
as it is seen fully mounted in the instructions without any directions how to put it together, it took a while to figure out how to fold the "container"
now i have to figure out the angles of the lights as i will have difficulties doing it when i glued it in place
i have put a plastic sheet over the hole to mimic the glass, as i intend to do all over the model - windshield, side windows - all of them will be covered with plastic sheets
then my 7 year old kid came up with an amazing tip - use aluminum foil as rear view mirrors :thumb:
would never have thought of that myself:mrgreen:
here are the latest pics (still have to figure out the positions)
    for now

Great work so far...I built this model very recently but at 1:18, it's a bit smaller than yours will be. I did some modifications with Photoshop, like better graphics for alloys, headlamps, tail lights and I scratch built a very basic engine bay with a transparent engine cover. Your choice of paper is spot on BTW!!!:) Keep up the good work!

    back in busyness again

    hi guys
added som new pics on the progress
started on the other headlight, this time it went a bit quicker as i allready figured out how to fold it on the other one
after a bout with migrane and a sore left wrist i started on the bottom part and the cockpit.
What you see on the pics was very straight forward but when it came to the dashboard i just could not figure out how to put it together :curse:
parts 55L+R just did not make any sense as they are not clearly visible on the instruction.
But late last night i saw how to fold the front parts of the "pods" and then like a cear vision i figured it out, how to fold and glue the dashboard to the center console
more pics on the cockpit later as i now head back to the assembly again

    some more pics

    hi again
Some more pics and some assistance needed
I set about to assemble the dashboard but the right side just don't seem to fit allright, anybody who has done it - any tips?
And for those with sharp eyes and good memory - remember parts 55L+R from the previous posts? - still haven't figured out where/how to assemble them :curse: so any tips on those would be much appreciated
    'til later
    /Håkan
