I like your landing gear Chris! I think they look real good and sturdy too!

Hope you have lots of those styro-peanuts if your shipping this model.
However you do it, I hope it gets there safely!

Yep, lots of peanuts! thanks for the kind word all - it helps! I plan on working the prop assembly a bit tonight. I gotta find that thread from a while back on making canopies too. it was buried in another thread somewhere....

Gerardo - toothpicks - wood - paper all close enough for me ;) if I made it by the models directions I would have used wire and this is a bit more pure heh heh besides the wire was a pain to work with!

Ted thanks for the tips - got a pic of that pancake? I made that model too and it was really quite hard for me at the time. It was one of my earlier models.

    Later all!

Someone here on the forum described wood and being "paper ore". Very cute. Probably drove the purists nuts!

Gonna put on more miles for christmas than anyone I know :) I will be sending this along with the dragon automata to france. Glad you like it! That darn macro sure finds flaws like gaps I didnt see before.... Ah well - nothing major enough to be a show stopper!

Yeah, I've learned to leave the macro button alone, no matter how tempting it is!

Aaahhh, it's good to see her riding on the wheels!

    Looking good Chris!

When do you plan to mount that beautiful engine you built? Tonight maybe?

It will be good to see her complete! Nice job buddy!

Boy...go away for a while and what happens....Chris builds an airplane!!! The model looks great, Chris. Wish I could have been here to cheer you along. Maybe on the next one.

All I've managed to accomplish in the past couple month has been an interior on an Albatros and I've cut a new set of parts for the Buffalo project I was working on when it got squashed. Oh well.

    Cheers --- Larry

Man I hate when that happens! I used to live in Maine, for 2 winters, I hated coming in finding the heat went out. Well when it warms up, It dosen't look like there is too much more to do, Good luck! T.

Great work! Looks like she's ready to go, judgeing by the snow in the backround, probably from one of those Northern Provinces! Have a great and safe trip!
