This eavning I got around to setting up my temporary table top layout. A 36" x 80" hollow core door and a grassmat for scenery. Kato Unitrack is the kicks. I clicked together a K-1 oval pack and K-2 switch pack. The test train ran flawlessly on the first lap. There is nearly 100% continuity throughout. Kato switches have built in electrical contacts that kill power to the track not en route so I can park a train on one side of the passing track.
