Kato GP35 - Noisy Drive

I have probably only run this loco 5 or 6 times since I bought it, but it has developed a real grating sound coming from one of the trucks. I think I can see what the problem is, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to take the truck off of the body so that I can get at the various drive gears (and the parts drawing that comes with all Katos really doesn't help very much).

Has anyone had a similar problem with a GP35 or can give me some tips as to how to get at the drive without breaking something?

Have you tried dripping fine oil into the gears Don?
Try it before you strip it down.
Or have ya done that alreadysign1
