Hello guys. I recently found a site where some modelers share his designs. I posted it in the internet findings section. Well, those models are trucks from the dakar competition. And they are beautiful, so i give it a try to one, the kamaz. I builded some days ago, but wasn't able to upload photos (router error, have to change it)

Most of the photos are to a slide-video, but here they are some for you i know who like to gossip :D

you can see in the front part of the chassi a white zone, it is where the cabine support go. plan b was to glue this cabine support in the inside, like you can see.

the cabine has a glue error, the roof doesn't go smooth with the doors and the rest of it.

first time without tabs (with the exception in 2 pieces and the trick in the wheel build). So, after all, im very happy.

Thank you Zathros!, im glad you liked. I had hard time without the tabs, will continue this road every time i can to become familiar with this, it's time. I also have to learn how to do small rods, i readed some threads about it, and understand it. But have to go "hands on the job". BUT it's no issue, it's fun!

Your models will eventually show not seams as you master the "No Tabs" method. make sure you attack on tab first, and use a spare piece of paper of the kind you are going to use, to recess the tab, so when the part goes in, it is flush, and the corner is tight. When done, you can run a bead of glue down the inside of the seam, and that's then the seam disappears. You also end up with a very strong model this way, and also the ability to customize it, by making doors open and the like without worrying about the shape holding. It's like adding a perimeter frame around the model. :)

Very nice. Had to download these models. Relatively simple but build up nicely. Plenty of opportunity for extras. Thanks for posting this.

Thank you Subnuke. I'm very happy to have found this. I'll share my build to Dody, the designer (his hame actually is Dominic Polak) and thank him for share his art.

And Thank you very match Zathros for your tips, advices and good vibe. Offcourse, you know how this is, the vices tend to stay, to return, so it will take lots of builds and perseverance. But the journey is tasty ;)
